BEYOND TENNIS
I'm sure you have an
opinion and it's just as valid as anyone
Unfortunately the world does
not revolve around tennis, there are other things happening that may
actually take time away from our enjoyment of our great sport. You
have other interests away from tennis.
Do tennis players think
differently then non-tennis players

I went to see “Bad Santa”
over the weekend, several weeks before Christmas when the movie
first came out, I heard Lou Dobbs on CNN talking about how the
powers that be who made this movie should be dragged out by their
hair tied to a post and shot a million times away from their vital
organs – while he did not say those exact words, he was definitely
anti “Bad Santa”.
The movie became a minor
hit, sports talk radio personalities deemed it funny and since it is
still in wide release well past Christmas, I figured why not give it
a shot. For those of you who have not yet seen it, the movie is not
about Christmas, I think the 10 people and the 3 kids who were in
the theater all have a different take on what it is about. The late
John Ritter (“Jack Tripper” to all of us) gave his usual goofy
performance especially when he tried to repeat the line uttered by
Billy Bob Thorton, while he was making love to an oversized lady in
the dressing room of the mall during his many breaks from greeting
the kids. It would be improper to repeat the words here, let’s just
say it falls in the category of “painful” bathroom humor.
