Tennis
Australia was formed in 1904 with the main
purpose of placing Australian players in the
Davis Cup competition, later the association
created a national tournament which is today one
of the four major tournaments of tennis.
Along with the US,
Australia dominated Davis Cup during the 40's to
the 70's. |
